Setting up your myBoiseState Account

As a new user at Boise State University please establish a password and enroll in the University’s password management tool. If you have questions about enrollment or this new tool, please visit the Office of Information Technology’s website

The password management tool requires enrollment, please follow the steps below:

Step 1

Navigate to reset.boisestate.edu and enter your Boise State username.

Step 2

Select your email address and send an enrollment email to that email address by following the prompts.

Note: Your “home” email address provided during admissions has been automatically imported into the tool.

Step 3

Log into your personal email account. Click on the link in the email that was sent to you and establish a password for your Boise State account.

Step 4

  1. After your password has been established, click on the Enrollment tab.

OPTIONAL: If you want to add a mobile number:

  • Click the Add mobile number link in the SMS Verification box.
  • Enter your mobile number and click Send Code.
  • Enter the code sent to your phone and click Verify Code.

OPTIONAL: If you want to add an additional email address:

  • Click the Add Email link In the Email Verification box.
  • Enter a personal email address (not your Boise State email address), and click Send Code.
  • Enter the code sent to that email address and click Verify Code.

Step 5

Once you have completed enrollment, click the profile icon at upper-right and select Sign Out.
