Application Deadlines

Admission to Boise State’s Graduate Certificate in Workplace E-Learning Design and Development is offered every spring, summer and fall semester. All application materials must be received by the deadline to be considered for the program. You must apply separately for admission to Boise State University.

Program Details

Certificate Outcomes

  • Foundational education on adult learning and e-learning principles
  • Introduction to the theories and practice of storyboarding and e-learning content design
  • Guided practice with e-learning authoring software programs, integrated with rapid e-learning development strategies, culminating in portfolio samples
  • Experience with embedding e-learning products into learning management systems with additional exposure to compliance to e-learning standards
  • Using game-based and gamified learning to accomplish improved knowledge/skill transfer outcomes in the workplace
