Submissions are open to one piece of fiction completed for coursework during the last calendar year. Submissions should not exceed 20 pages. Beth Manor wrote the 2nd place submission in the Fiction Category for the 2023 President’s Writing Awards.
About Beth
Beth Manor’s favorite word is melancholy. Her hobbies are photographing flowers and reading books. She wrote “The Book on the Bus” as a love letter to the small fascinations that provide a reprieve from the otherwise unbearable. Not every classroom is a sanctuary, but her creative writing classrooms often were. Spring 2023 concludes her higher education.
