CESAR CHAVEZ LANE CLOSURE
OCTOBER 9 – NOVEMBER 3, 2023
A section of Cesar Chavez Lane, north of Albertsons Library, will be closed due to water main work from October 9 to November 3. There will be no through access eastbound on Cesar Chavez from the north side of Riverfront Hall to Theater Lane during this time. The Greenbelt will remain open. Pedestrians and bicyclists should use the Greenbelt as the primary detour route along Cesar Chavez Lane between Theater Lane and Capitol Boulevard.
The construction in this area will also impact the Blue Shuttle Route, which will follow an alternate route during the closure. This alternate route does not include the following stops: Education, Albertsons Library, Theater Lane, and Taylor Hall. For route updates and information, please use the free shuttle tracker.
