Wilderness First Responder Courses

Interested in becoming certified as a Wilderness First Responder (WFR) or re-certifying your current WFR? We host courses provided by the National Outdoor Leadership School’s Wilderness Medicine Institute. This medical training provides the information needed when outdoors when one’s access to medical care is limited by time, space, and communication.

The WFR is a hybrid model with both asynchronous work prior to the course and 5 days of in person training.

The recertification WFR course is also a hybrid model with both asynchronous work prior to the course and 2 days of in person training.
