Many IRB research studies involve the use of Data Use Agreements (DUAs) or Restricted Data Use Agreements (RDUAs). Due to the complexity and overlap of DUAs into areas including OIT, Compliance and Legal, DUAs must be reviewed and approved by the Boise State Data Security Committee.
Please note that while DUAs must be also included as part of your IRB review, the review by the Data Security Committee is a separate review and approval process and may or may not be contingent on your IRB approval. Please contact the IRB at humansubjects@boisestate.edu with additional questions.
