FEMA Administrator Meeting

The Boise State Hazard and Climate Resilience Institute is pleased to host a special, in-person visit with the senate confirmed 12th FEMA Administrator, Deanne Criswell, on June 7!

Anyone interested in learning more about hazards, FEMA’s role in responding to the impacts of climate change, or a career in emergency management is welcome to attend.  The event is focused on students, but faculty are welcome as well.

Agenda

  • Learn about Ms. Criswell’s path to emergency management and what she loves about the job
  • Discover how FEMA is addressing climate change
  • Share your related efforts and/or ask questions about hazards, climate change, and career opportunities in emergency management.

A few FEMA Region 10 leaders will be in attendance as well.

This is an excellent opportunity to network and learn!
