InfoEd Proposal Development Now Live for Sponsored Project Proposals

The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) Pre-Award team is pleased to announce the full campus rollout of InfoEd Proposal Development (PD) — Boise State’s new system for sponsored project proposal preparation and routing.

Effective July 16, 2025, all proposal submissions must begin in InfoEd PD using the Proposal Intake Form (PIF). This replaces the previous manual intake process via email and routing through Frevvo. Instructions for accessing InfoEd and completing the PIF are linked in the InfoEd Job Aids section below. 

The PIF gathers key information about the funding opportunity and sponsor deadlines, helping the Pre-Award team plan appropriately and assign staff to support each proposal. Completing the PIF signals your intent to submit a proposal, but it does not obligate you to move forward. If plans change and you decide to delay or cancel your submission, simply notify the Pre-Award team at preaward@boisestate.edu.

This transition is part of OSP’s ongoing efforts to streamline proposal processes and better support the campus research community.

Important Deadlines to Keep in Mind:

  • To ensure sufficient time for preparation, review, and routing, OSP requests that the Proposal Intake Form be submitted at least 10 business days before the sponsor deadline.
  • In accordance with University Policy 5030, all final proposal documents must be submitted to OSP Pre-Award five business days prior to the sponsor deadline.
  • Proposals must begin routing no less than three business days prior to the sponsor deadline.

OSP Pre-Award will host drop-in training and support sessions over the next month to answer questions and provide technical assistance with InfoEd PD.

  • Accessing InfoEd: These instructions will walk you through accessing and logging into InfoEd.
