Like a moth to a flame your eyes become glued to the works of art stuck in a realm known as the Mortis realm that is the birthplace of Star Wars where the Jedi first order comes to arise and is where the force begins to emerge from ashes. As a child when the first Star Wars came out in the early 2000’s I became drawn to the series. Through the process of concept design, I want to grab hold of the viewers eye and bring a sense of familiarity to the trilogy and give them the compelling experience I had as a kid with Star Wars. I want to approach a design that hasn’t been done by many artists to give myself the challenge to not only execute the composition, but to hold true to the aesthetics of Star Wars overall. Doing my research on this era of Star Wars “Old Republic BBY,” I think gives the nail biting, teeth grinding experience of curiosity to what did Star Wars really looked like in the beginning of creation like the Adam and Eve illustration of the futuristic aesthetics.
