Morrison Center for the Performing Arts
The Department of Music and the Department of Theatre, Film and Creative Writing are housed in the Velma V. Morrison Center for the Performing Arts, one of the finest facilities in the United States. Situated on the banks of the beautiful Boise River near downtown Boise, the Morrison Center greatly enhances the cultural life of Boise, Boise State and the state of Idaho. It includes a 2,000-seat performing hall used by Boise State departments, touring groups, and local groups such as the Boise Opera and the Boise Philharmonic.
