Community Enhancement Trainings

Community Enhancement Trainings are provided in Boise and Twin Falls by the Community Enhancement Training Initiative (CETI).  The principle objective of this project is to increase the availability and cultural and linguistic appropriateness of mental health services for newly arrived refugees in Idaho. Idaho has a shortage of mental health providers experienced in working with refugees and interpreters who are trained to work in a mental health setting. This, combined with the high concentrations of refugee arrivals with identified mental health needs, has made it difficult for many refugees to access services that meet their critical mental health issues.

Trainings are free. RSVP to Kathy Tidwell at kathytidwell@boisestate.edu or (208) 426-5937.
