About Robert Reed

Interests:

Dr. Reed has many interests beyond teaching including fitness and exercise, reading, spending time with his family and watching old episodes of the 1960’s show, The Twilight Zone. His favorite bands include Led Zeppelin, Rush, The Police, and all types of 80’s music. He has also lived in China and the Philippines and includes those experiences in the classroom to make sociology come to life!

History at the College:

Dr. Reed joined the Sociology Department in the fall of 2015 as an adjunct instructor and teaches the following courses: Introduction to Sociology, Social Statistics, and University Foundations with a course emphasis on Social Inequality. He teaches face-to-face, online, and hybrid courses. He is passionate about his subject and enjoys being in the classroom. He has been teaching for over sixteen years.
