Jeremy Maxand

Bio

Jeremy Maxand, M.A., is a nonprofit manager, community leader, and educator. He has more than a decade of experience as a university instructor, and two decades working in the nonprofit sectors of Idaho and Alaska. He teaches sociology at Boise State University and his research interests include the sociology of disability, the intersection of emergency preparedness and disaster, and contemporary political social movements. He is a certified Americans with Disabilities Act Coordinator through the University of Missouri’s College of Human & Environmental Sciences, School of Architectural Studies, and a certificate holder from the Nonprofit Executive Leadership Institute at the University of Washington’s Evans School of Public Policy & Governance.
