Bozena Morawski is an epidemiologist at the Idaho Hospital Association (IHA), where her time is split between IHA’s two registry programs: the Cancer Data Registry of Idaho and the Idaho’s Time-Sensitive Emergency Registry. She is also co-Principal Investigator for CDRI’s Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) contract with the National Cancer Institute. She is a member of the North American Association of Central Cancer Registries (NAACCR) Board of Directors and chairs the NAACCR Data Security and Confidentiality Work Group.

She earned an MPH from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2009 and a PhD in epidemiology from the University of Minnesota in 2017. She was an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer assigned to the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare through the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s Epidemic Intelligence Service Program. Dr. Morawski’s research is focused on health disparities – particularly as they are influenced by geography – cancer survival, and population attributable risk for cancer.
