In the 21st century, water scarcity will reshape the West’s economy, growth, agriculture, environment, and recreation.
On April 19-20, 2005, debate took place about how solutions to the looming water crisis can be found. This major policy conference was convened by the Andrus Center for Public Policy and the Idaho Statesman.
All of us in the West — business leaders, agricultural producers, state and local government officials, tribal government leaders, and conservation and recreation interests — have a huge stake in how future water solutions are crafted.
