Networking Reception

decorative image

The virtual Networking Reception at the end of the day is designed to connect you with organizations, speakers, and Skill Builder leaders. Just like at an in-person conference, you can bounce from virtual booth to virtual booth to discuss topics, ask questions, and learn more from these leaders. Each booth has something unique to offer and we hope you will enjoy this time for networking. The knowledge is here for the taking – use it to empower your future.

Featured below are the virtual booths available during the Networking Reception starting at 1:40 pm.

AAUW- What the Vote!
What The Vote! (WTV!) is a program that recognizes the power and the potential for young voters to shape their future.  Do you want older generations, who are the majority of voters, making decisions that shape your future? That is what happens when the Gen Z and Millennials don’t vote. WTV! encourages young people to embrace the importance of your voting power.  Learn how you can become engaged and inspire others to make a difference in your communities through informed voting. Check out the website at www.whatthevoteidaho.org.

The American Association of University Women (AAUW) Boise is the sponsor for What The Vote!. AAUW is a nonpartisan organization that works to advance equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, and research.
Do you want to have a voice about issues important to you?  Visit the “What The Vote!” booth during the reception to talk with a panel of young people about why it is important to be engaged, informed, and to vote. Also, enter for a chance to win a Dutch Bros gift card!

“For me, social justice is a spiritual practice, not a political one. Idaho is my home base, displaced humanity is my life calling, and compassion is my passport to the world.”
– Liyah Babayan

“We tell our own stories in the way we live our lives. We have to remember that when we live our life in a good way we are writing a good story for the future. Live liberated to honor our ancestors. Live liberated to tell the story to our descendants.”
