Climate Change: Impacts on Public Lands

In celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), the Andrus Center partnered with the Public Lands Foundation to host a conversation on climate change and the public lands on November 10, 2021.

The unique panel discussion was moderated by June Shoemaker, BLM Idaho State Director and was broadcast live to Facebook and Youtube from Boise State University. The panelists joining the discussion were BSU Professor Jen Pierce, UC Berkeley Professor Steven Beissinger, TRCP’s Center for Public Lands Director Madeleine West, and National Interagency Fire Center Director Grant Beebe.

The Andrus Center hopes to partner with organizations even more in the coming year on relevant environmental topics.
