School of Public Service Alumna Lex Roitman organized an affordable housing panel discussion for the North End Neighborhood Association with other neighborhood association representatives attending.
Krista Paulsen, Associate Professor and Program Lead for Urban Studies and Community Development, Boise State University School of Public Service, and Vanessa Fry, Director of Idaho Policy Institute and Associate Research Faculty in the School of Public Service at Boise State, served as panelists as did Nina Schaeffer of coUrbanize, an online community engagement platform for real estate development.
The panelists discussed definitions of affordable housing and workforce housing as well as solutions to addressing both in the context of the City of Boise and Idaho as a whole.
