Read his welcome letter below.
“Dear Colleagues, Partners, and Friends,
It is with great enthusiasm that I step into the role of Director of the Idaho Policy Institute (IPI), an institution with a strong legacy of rigorous, relevant, and impactful policy research.
At a time when evidence-based solutions are more critical than ever, IPI remains committed to bridging the gap between research and real-world decision-making. We aim to provide quality research and support that informs policy, empowers communities, and improves lives.
As we look ahead, I am excited to build on IPI’s strengths, while also exploring new opportunities for innovation and engagement. Our goals are to support our community partners as they navigate the challenging times ahead and to provide high-quality learning opportunities for our students in the process. Achieving these goals is only possible because of the amazing team at IPI, and they deserve all the credit for our current and future successes.
I look forward to working with our talented team, our faculty, our students, our community partners, and our broader network of stakeholders to advance this important work. Together, we
can build stronger communities.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership.
Sincerely,
Luke Fowler
Professor & Interim Director
Idaho Policy Institute
School of Public Service”
