The following data helps better understand safety metrics throughout counties in the EIPH area.
Juvenile Crime
Crimes committed by juveniles is collected and reported by the Idaho State Police. This dashboard updates annually with data regarding crimes against persons, property, and society.
Crimes Against Persons
Crimes committed against people is collected and reported by the Idaho State Police. This dashboard updates annually with data regarding crimes against persons, this includes assault, kidnapping or abduction, and human trafficking, among many others.
Vehicle Accidents
Safety also includes safety on the road. The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) collects and reports this data. The data is updated at least annually and includes details on the severity of accidents, circumstances of accidents, and driver demographics.
Child Maltreatment
The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare collects data from Child Welfare on the number of referrals made per 1,000 residents. These referrals include report made of suspected child abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Anyone can make a referral. The dashboard also includes screen-in rate. This is the percent of referrals filed that are investigated by IDHW.
