The Undergraduate Research and Mentoring Institute, or U.R.M. Institute, is Boise State’s campus-wide hub for undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity (URSCA). We connect students, faculty, staff, and partners to the opportunities, mentoring and support that help undergraduate scholarly and creative work take shape across the university.
At Boise State, undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity happen in many forms, such as in labs and studios, community-based projects, and through collaborations that cross disciplines, roles, and contexts. The U.R.M. Institute helps make those opportunities more visible, more connected, and more realistic for students and mentors across campus.
