Don Hutt, the most prolific pass receiver in Boise State history, lettered three-years in football and remains the school’s all-time leading pass receiver. His records include 15 receptions in a single game against UC Davis in 1973; most pass receptions in a career with 189 between 1970 and 1973, and most yards receiving in a career with 2,728. He won honorable mention All-American honors in 1971 and was named to the first team of the Division II All-American football team following the 1972 and 1972 seasons. Drafted by the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League following the completion of his senior year, Hutt elected to play a year with Hawaii of the World Football League.
