Eugene Greene earned the highest honor an intercollegiate athlete can receive when he won the 1991 NCAA National Indoor Championship in the men’s triple jump. Greene’s national championship jump was 53-3. Along with is national title, Greene also received NCAA All-American honors in the triple jump at the 1990 NCAA Indoor and Outdoor National Championships. A native of the Bahamas, Greene won a total of 10 Big Sky Conference Championships. His individual league titles include two in the indoor long jump, three in the indoor triple jump, one in the outdoor long jump, three in the outdoor triple jump and one as the member of Boise State’s 4×100-meter relay team at the 1989 outdoor championships. Greene holds the Boise State record in the indoor long jump at 25-10 ¾. In 1989, he helped the Broncos to the Big Sky Conference men’s outdoor team championship.
