Mike Holton is one of the top wide receivers to play football for Boise State. A four-year letterman, Holton three time received first team All-Big Sky Conference honors from 1974 to 1976. Following the 1974 and 1975 seasons he also received honorable mention All-American honors from the Associated Press. Holton established Boise State records for most Yards Receiving in a Game with 252 vs. Nevada-Las Vegas in 1974; and Most Touchdowns Receiving in a Season with 13 in 1974. He finished his career with 139 pass receptions for 2, 354 yards and 21 touchdowns. His top season was in 1974 as a sophomore when he led the team with 64 receptions for 1,080 yards. He is one of the four Broncos to gain over 1,000 yards receiving in a single season.
