Pat House competed for Boise Junior College during the 1959 and 1960 seasons. His sophomore year he led the team to a 5th place finish in the National Junior College World Series. He was selected a first team NJCAA All-American baseball player after the 1960 season. He was also voted the top Junior College left-handed pitcher in the nation in 1960 by a panel of national sports-writers. House grated from the University of Wyoming in 1962 and spent ten years in professional baseball.
