Scott Barrett is one of the top wrestlers in Boise State history. He won four Big Sky Conference championships from 1979 to 1982 in the 126-pound division. Making four consecutive NCAA national tournament appearances, Barrett completed his collegiate career with a second place finish at the 1982 NCAA national championships. His national runner-up finish is the highest placing ever by a Boise State wrestler at the NCAA tournament. Barrett’s career record at Boise State was 115-25-1, an 81.9 winning percentage. Following his college career, Barrett competed for ht 1981 U.S. National Team and at the 1983 U.S. Olympic Trials.
