Terry Hutt was a four-year letterman at wide receiver for Boise State University from 1973 to 1977. Terry played in 1973 and 1974 before missing the 1975 season with an injury. He came back for his junior and senior years in 1976 and 1977 to lead the team in receiving both seasons. During his senior year Terry caught 56 passes for 1,032 yards and six touchdowns earning first team All-Big Sky Conference and first team Associated Press All-American honors. He completed his career making 132 pass receptions for 2,354 yards and 14 touchdowns. His 2,354 receiving yards is the second highest total in Bronco history. Terry’s 132 receptions is the fourth highest career total at Boise State. Boise State’s overall record for the four seasons Terry played was 34-12-1. The team also won three Big Sky Conference championships (1973, 1974, and 1977). Terry joins his brother Don Hutt in the Bronco Athletic Hall of Fame. His brother Don was inducted in 1984.
