The Venture College cohorts are entrepreneurial communities for students who want to get more out of their college experience, potentially bring a classroom project to life, or take on their own venture.

Online Startup Garage

The Start Up Garage is a 3 credit online course that helps students understand the basics of launching and growing a startup.

After taking this course, you will be to analyze your own ideas or those of other entrepreneurs.

5 Week Sprint

Mission 43 Cohort

Join an exclusive group of Mission43 veterans, currently serving military, and military spouses. Throughout 10-sessions, you’ll go under the hood of your business (or non-profit idea) using the Lean Startup Methodology. You will grow as a cohort, share ideas, and learn from each other with the goal of moving you towards achieving and sustaining revenue as a viable business. At the end of the course, you’ll have the opportunity to pitch your idea to local business leaders, Venture College mentors, and potential investors in a Shark Tank style format.

Hacking for Defense Cohort

Boise State University and Venture College have been chosen as a Hacking 4 Defense incorporated (H4Di) partner to enable powerful approaches to stimulating science and technology invention, innovation and entrepreneurship on university and college campuses directed towards solving national security problems.
