To Add a Class

Before the semester begins, students may add classes on myBoiseState if space is available. If a class is full, students may place themselves on the course waitlist and wait to see if a seat will become available.
Students may continue to add classes after the first day of classroom instruction up until the deadline appropriate to that session (example: Fall 2019 – Regular session, September 9).
Students must receive a permission number from the instructor to add the class after the fifth day of the semester’s regular session. Instructors may grant permission until the tenth day of classes. Please see the Academic Calendar for exact deadlines.
Instructors may refuse permission to add if the class is full or if they feel the student’s late entry will prevent them or other students from fully benefiting from the class.
