My research focuses on vegetation characterization using active remote sensing techniques, mainly with lidar (discrete and waveform). My research aims to advance our understanding of vegetation structure-function relationships and their response to disturbance under changing climate conditions. My research focuses on combining remotely sensed observations and in situ data to develop better framework to assess the complexity and dynamics of vegetation structure, function and diversity in a range of ecosystems across spatial scales.
