Anna Shuey, a Ph.D. student in Dr. McDougal’s Lab, was selected to receive a $1,000 travel grant to attend the American Chemical Society (ACS) Spring 2024 Meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana. This award, sponsored by the Women Chemists Committee (WCC) of ACS and Eli Lilly, focuses on increasing the participation of women in the chemical sciences. While at the ACS spring meeting, Anna will have the opportunity to take part in the WCC/Eli Lilly, Division of Analytical Chemistry, and the Sci-Mix poster sessions, as well as other valuable networking opportunities throughout the event.
