Types of Interview Schedules

Pre-Select, Open and Room Only options are available based on your recruiting needs. For a pre-select schedule, it is advised that you post the schedule four to six weeks before the interview date to gain maximum student exposure.

Pre-Select Schedules

This type of schedule allows you to review the resumes of interested students and select who you want to “invite” to interview. You also select which candidates are “uninvited” to interview. Each “Pre-Select” schedule has a set of due dates that coordinate your campus visit. Candidates have up until a certain date to submit applications via the online BroncoJobs system. You then have a certain period of time to go online and review the candidates and then make decisions about interviewing. After the decisions are made, the “invited” candidates are notified by the BroncoJobs system and then they can go back online and choose interview timeslots. After the sign-up period ends, you go can log back in to BroncoJobs and view/print your final interview schedule.

Open Schedules

The “open schedule” allows students to submit their resumes and sign-up for interview time slots on a first-come, first-served basis. This option is good if the OCR position is going to be viewed by students for a short period of time (less than four weeks) and/or the Employer doesn’t need to select interviewees based on their resumes.

Room Only Schedules

The “room only” schedule option means that you would be responsible for locating and scheduling your candidates, following a recommended schedule template. Employers who select this option often do so because they already have candidates of interest who have applied for online job listings or who will attending a campus career event and will already be in direct contact with candidates. This option would only work well if you have the support staff to contact and schedule candidates, and you already have an established candidate pool.
