It is our pleasure to announce Joe Meredith as our Employee of the Month for February 2022. According to one nomination, “Joe is a wonderful team member, he is thoughtful, kind and knowledgeable.” During the month of February, Joe has gone above and beyond by coordinating with other departments to put together a training webinar and he has helped to advocate for the funding of the GradeScope initiative. Nominators provided the following commentary on behalf of Joe’s attitude and commitment, interpersonal skills, work performance, and personal traits.

Joe has volunteered for and taken the initiative to work as a member of the PAR committee to complete the PAR and serve as a point of contact for feedback at departmental meetings.
Joe (and others) have kick-started the teaching observation program, and facilitated training for those interested in teaching observation and by participating in it himself.
Joe has given much time and energy to extra departmental activities that benefit the group. He helped supervisors to coordinate lab instructor evaluations, he participates whole-heartedly to activities that make us a better department. Joe is a unifier and team player.
