Course Details

COID 268 – Data Analysis I: Prepare, Process, Analyze

Learn the foundational skills necessary to source, prepare, process, and analyze data, including how to clean and organize data for analysis and complete analysis and calculations using spreadsheets and SQL.

COID 269 – Data Analysis II: Visualize, Share, Act

Learn the foundational skills necessary to present the findings of their analyses, including how to conduct a complete analysis, share insights using tools such as spreadsheets, SQL, R programming, and data visualization, and create/publish a data analysis case study. Produced works may also serve as learner portfolio assets.

Each certificate has two courses, seven credits total
Certificate courses are offered Fall, Spring, and Summer
Certificate courses start every 7 weeks in Fall and Spring
A certificate can be earned in a single semester, but courses must be taken in sequence (cannot be taken concurrently)
