Course Details

COID 266 – IT Support I: IT Support and Computer Networking

Learn the fundamentals of day-to-day IT support, including identifying problems, troubleshooting, and debugging. Learn networking basics, including protocols, cloud computing, and practical applications of network troubleshooting.

COID 267 – IT Support II: IT System Administration, Infrastructure, and Security

Learn the basics of operating systems, system administration, and IT infrastructure services necessary to manage a fleet of devices and software on premises and in the cloud. Learn IT security concepts, tools, and best practices to address threats and attacks. Produce capstone deliverables that may also serve as professional portfolio assets.

Certificate Details and Cadence

Each certificate has two courses, seven credits total
Certificate courses are offered Fall, Spring, and Summer
Certificate courses start every 7 weeks in Fall and Spring
A certificate can be earned in a single semester, but courses must be taken in sequence (cannot be taken concurrently)
