6 p.m. Student Union Jordan Ballroom. Maria Tatar, the John L. Loeb Professor of Germanic Languages and Literatures at Harvard University, will present “The Wolf Trap: Entering the Woods through Fairy Tales.” The goal of the series is to promote interdisciplinary inquiry and to foster dialogue across the campus and community, based on the premise that big questions need interdisciplinary answers. It examines how ideas of nature are expressed in literature, art, philosophy, music and other humanities disciplines.

The lectures are free, open to the public and no tickets are required. The lectures will be held from 6-7 p.m. in the Student Union Jordan or Simplot ballrooms. Each lecture will be followed by a reception with a no-host bar and appetizers.
