Theatre Arts Presents Broadway Musical ‘Little Women’

The Department of Theatre Arts will present “Little Women” on March 5-8.

Based on the classic novel by Louisa May Alcott, “Little Women” follows the heartwarming and tragic stories of the March sisters as they come of age during the Civil War. This Broadway adaptation will be held on the Morrison Center main stage.

The story takes place in picturesque 19th-century New England. Tomboyish Jo, beautiful Meg, fragile Beth, and romantic Amy come of age while their father is off to war.

Performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, March 5-7; 10 a.m. Friday, March 6; and 2 p.m. Sunday, March 8. Buy tickets here.

The play will be directed by theatre arts professor Richard Klautsch. The musical director is music professor Laura Rushing-Raynes.
