Research from across Idaho will be highlighted at the annual Idaho Conference on Undergraduate Research (ICUR) held July 27-28, 2016, in the Student Union Building at Boise State University. All sessions are open to the public and are free. Conference pre-registration is closed, but on-site registration will be available.

More than 250 students will present 143 projects through poster presentations. Presenters represent 46 institutions, including eight Idaho colleges and universities and four Idaho high schools.

The conference includes keynote speakers, poster presentations from across academic disciplines, “lightning” research talks and many networking events. Panel and presentation topics include advice on getting into graduate school, the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program, transitioning to a career, mentoring practices and more. See the full program at the ICUR website.

Of special interest to the general public will be the poster sessions held in the Student Union Simplot Ballroom from 2:30-4 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, and 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, July 28.
