These 90-minute presentations by multilingual Boise State students highlight the strengths that speakers of multiple languages have as they help Boise State become a globally connected academic community.
A reception for refugee students and their advocates will be held from 4:15-5 p.m. immediately following the conference on Tuesday.
Members of the community are encouraged to attend one or both days. The schedule of presentations will be different each day. No registration or RSVP is necessary. Light refreshments will be served.
For more information, contact Gail Shuck, associate professor of English, at (208) 426-1189 or gshuck@boisestate.edu. The conference is presented by the students in Boise State’s multilingual writing courses and English Language Support Programs. It is sponsored by the Boise State Refugee Alliance, a student organization committed to providing peer support for students with refugee backgrounds.
