The Boise State Bee Team also is running a campaign to raise $4,000 for supplies and educational materials. The Bee Team is dedicated to learning and educating students about the health and care of honeybees by maintaining an apiary program on the roof of the Student Union Building. They harvest honey and beeswax to make products sold in the bookstore and grow flowers for honeybee pollination. Help keep the Bea Team buzzing in 2017 with a donation.
Physics professor Brian Jackson soon will launch a campaign to support an educational tour across the Gem State for the 2017 eclipse in August. The last eclipse was in 1979 and another won’t happen for 150 years, so if you missed the last one, be sure to check it out.
