Oct. 30: Conservation Symposium for the Snake River Birds of Prey Area

On Oct. 30, join Boise State’s Department of Geosciences and the Morley Nelson Snake River Birds of Prey National Conservation Area (NCA) for an annual symposium showcasing conservation-based projects associated with the area.

This free event will take place from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. in the Student Union Simplot Ballroom.

The emphasis of the symposium is outreach and education of the NCA restoration, resources and uses through short project summaries and interactions with local agencies, non-government organizations (NGOs), private corporations and the general public. The target audience is current and future conservation and restoration professionals, and citizen scientists.
