Thursday Nov. 9
Speaker and discussion, “Fighting Fake News in Idaho,” 7:30 p.m. in Jordan D Ballroom in the Student Union Building. Come talk with Matt Christensen, editor of the Times News in Twin Falls, about his experience with fake news as Russian disinformation on Facebook helped stir up anti-refugee outrage in southern Idaho.
In addition, there will be a pop-up newsroom running all week on the Quad. At a table, volunteers will help interested passersby report the news.
