The Clay and Fire ceramics sale will be held from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Dec. 9-11 in the Liberal Arts Building, Visual Arts Center Gallery (LART 170). Admission is free.

Held each spring and fall semesters for about 40 years, the sale has become a tradition for many in the Treasure Valley. It features hundreds of original ceramic pieces, ranging from elegant to exotic, made by Boise State students, faculty and alumni.  This wonderful sale offers the opportunity to purchase locally made and truly unique gifts, and keep our alumni and community in touch.

A portion of the proceeds benefits Boise State’s visiting artists in ceramics program, which brings world-class artists to campus to teach students and the community about contemporary techniques and concepts. Visiting artists from around the country perform their magic with clay each semester. The Clay and Fire sale makes it possible for the public to attend these two-day workshops that are always free for Boise State students, faculty and staff.
