Join the Boise State Physics Department on Friday, March 2 at 7:30 p.m. in the Science and Education Building, room 112, to hear Dr. Jennifer Burt discuss how TESS will operate in space and reveal new answers to fundamental questions about planets in our galaxy.
Seating is limited; attendees are encouraged to arrive early.

At 8:30 p.m., following the lecture and presentation series, we will stargaze on the rooftop of the Science and Education Building at the newly refurbished Boise State Observatory, weather permitting.
The event is free and open to the public.
A reduced parking rate will be available in the Brady Parking Garage, map: http://boi.st/2Eo9JMJ. Attendees will be able to park in any space that is not designated by a sign.
* Note: remember license plate number, then proceed to a pay kiosk. Pay kiosks are available on each floor by the staircase. Select “Boise State Physics Public Astronomy Event” on the screen. You will be prompted step-by-step by the kiosks. Once the transaction is complete, you do not have to place the receipt on your dashboard.
