The Higher Education Research Council (HERC) Fellowship is a paid, 10-week research experience offered to undergraduate students by the Institute for Inclusive & Transformative Scholarship. This fellowship gives students the opportunity to gain meaningful research skills with a faculty mentor.
- The HERC Fellowship is open to all STEM majors, including: students in natural sciences, social sciences, and health sciences, engineering, and computer science.
- HERC Fellows receive a $3,000 stipend and the opportunity to present their research.
- All student applicants must have a faculty mentor nominate them for the fellowship.
The deadline for students to apply is Nov. 19, 2021.
