The Idaho Film Collection supports scholarly research and creative activities in film, photography and media studies as these relate to and/or benefit Idaho and the Northwest. IFC supports the activities of filmmakers, photographers and scholars in related fields, as well as public screenings, exhibitions and festivals.

The collection encourages students, scholars, and independent photographers and filmmakers to apply for grants by Oct. 15, 2023.

Grants for students

Current Boise State students can apply for film, experimental video and photography grants that range from $200-$500.

Grants for scholars, photographers and filmmakers

Faculty, staff and independent filmmakers and photographers can apply for grants that range from $500-$1500.
