Teaching Students Teamwork Skills: Small Changes with Big Impacts – Dec. 7

Do you utilize teamwork in your courses and have noticed that not all teams have positive teaming experiences? Have you ever wondered what you can do to help students improve their teaming experiences?

If you answered “yes” to both of these questions, we invite you to learn about a new Teamwork Training Protocol that instructors can readily implement in courses where students work together for at least 6 weeks of the semester. This protocol provides instructors with:

  • tools for creating and managing meaningful teamwork experiences;
  • improved students’ satisfaction with teamwork;
  • better teamwork-related learning outcomes.

We are looking for instructors who would like to implement this new training protocol in a Spring 2023 course. Instructors may also participate as co-researchers in assessing the effectiveness of the training protocol. To learn more, please register to attend our information session on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2022, at 4 p.m.

Seats are limited, so be sure to register at https://forms.gle/WqkHFHemokKrLNHS6.
