The 2022 Creative Writing MFA Reading Series will conclude its fall line-up with celebrated poet Cody-Rose Clevidence. Free and open to the public, the Creative Writing MFA Reading Series invites renowned writers to campus each fall and spring. Visiting writers give readings and conduct workshops with creative writing students.

Cody-Rose Clevidence has written several collection of poetry, including “Aux Arc / Trypt Ich” (Nightboat, 2021), “Listen My Friend,” “This is the Dream I Dreamed Last Night” (The Song Cave, 2021), “Flung/Throne” (Ahsahta, 2018) and “BEAST FEAST” (Ahsahta Press, 2014), as well as several chapbooks, most recently “DEARTH/ God’s Green Mirth,” from Fonograph. They live in the Arkansas Ozarks with two stunningly handsome dogs and one insane cat.

Clevidence will give a reading of their work on Friday, Nov. 11, 2022, in the Great Hall in the Hemingway Center. Following the reading, Clevidence will sign books, which will be available for purchase.
