Dr. Kit Scott joined the faculty of the Department of Information Technology and Supply Chain Management at Boise State University in 2011. In 2019, Scott began work COBE administration as associate dean of academic programs and students. He earned a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Idaho, and a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from Washington State University. Dr. Scott’s teaching interests are in project management, programming languages, and systems analysis and design, and his research interests focus on computer-mediated communication (knowledge transfer, social computing, and e-commerce within virtual worlds), and trust in innovation and adoption.
