Kamryn Parker Receives Graduate Student Showcase Award

The 2023 Graduate Student Showcase was held on April 11th and among the many participants, Master of Science in Computer Science student Kamryn Parker was recognized as an awardee for her exhibition of scholarship to the greater campus and local community at the showcase.

“At the graduate student showcase, I presented my work on the need for election day communication systems for Idaho elections. The work explored the various needs of different counties and how a centralized approach to communication can assist with challenges faced on election day. Receiving this award on behalf of the Department of Computer Science and College of Engineering has been a great privilege. I am grateful to have had to opportunity to present my research to other graduate student peers and professors at the showcase as well as represent the CS Department! ” -Kamryn
